COMPANY AND PROJECT DESCRIPTION
Our client is a custom software development agency that mainly specializes in the development of custom WordPress websites for startups and established businesses.
Projects are long-term and are always carried out with a ready-made design (mobile + desktop) prepared by a team of designers. The approach to development is individual, without a page builder or existing themes. However, there is still the use of time-saving CMS features, such as a ready-made admin panel, as well as rich e-commerce functionality, SEO and other features.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop custom web pages and templates based on WordPress.
- Report to the team leader.
- Possibly call a potential client and discuss the main tasks of the project with them.
- Ability to create custom wp-admin functionality, pages, custom post types, and others.
REQUIRED SKILLS
- 2+ years of experience PHP 7+ / WordPress.
- Proficiency in HTML, HTML5 features, CSS, SASS.
- Strong knowledge of JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX, JSON, OOP concepts, APIs and hooks.
- Experience with GIT, Gulp/NPM/Webpack.
- Experience with Nginx, Apache, Docker, SSH, Linux.
- Experience with MySQL, custom CRUD operations, and database management systems.
- Experience with performance optimization techniques, including caching, image compression, CDNs, and code optimization.
- English Level: Intermediate+.
