Solidworks Design Engineer

About the role

Our customer, a Ukrainian defence technology manufacturer, is looking for a design engineer to take hardware from the first 3D model to a product that is ready for production. You’ll work side by side with mechanical, electronics and software engineers on technology that is used in real conditions.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and improve structures of different types and complexity
• Build 3D models and prepare drawings and design documentation
• Take part in assembling and testing finished products
• Work closely with engineers, designers, electronics engineers and programmers
• Find and implement technical solutions together with the engineering team

Must-have skills

• Education: a degree in mechanical engineering, engineering or a related technical field
• SolidWorks and Altium Designer: at least 1 to 2 years of hands-on work. Knowing the software isn’t enough: you should have developed products and prepared them for production
• Design engineering: previous experience as a design engineer
• Work style: attention to detail, responsibility and a systematic approach
• Motivation: you’re ready to work on complex technical projects in defence technology
