About the role
We are hiring an Instructional Designer / Content Producer for the Go-to-Market Enablement team of a leading US-based SaaS platform. The team equips global Sales and Customer Success staff with high-impact skills, tools, and learning content, and needs an experienced contractor to execute on leadership-enablement and onboarding programs.
This is an approximately 4-month contract, with potential prolongation for another year. Senior instructional designers on the client side lead strategy, you own execution. The ideal candidate uses AI tools like Google Gemini and Claude to accelerate research, content strategy, and learning design, delivering practical learning experiences at an agile pace without sacrificing quality.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Enablement and GTM team members to identify the highest-impact content priorities
- Design modern, high-quality eLearning modules with Mindsmith
- Design engaging virtual instructor-led training via Google Slides
- Create scripts and develop video content using Vyond, Camtasia, and other video authoring tools
- Innovate on content development and distribution strategies to engage learners
- Improve, refine, and maintain existing content
- Conduct research to inform content strategy
Must-have skills
- 5+ years of experience in instructional design, including developing enablement content in the tech industry
- A track record of creative ways to engage and motivate remote learners
- Strong video, podcast, and roleplay production and editing skills
- Virtual course design expertise and a deep understanding of adult learning principles
- A collaborative, growth-minded, “roll up your sleeves” working style
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
- A Bachelor’s degree
Technical requirements
- Tools: Canva, Google Suite, Confluence Cloud, Seismic, Mindsmith or Articulate Rise (or a similar authoring tool), Vyond (or a similar video authoring tool)
- AI: demonstrated expertise using AI tools (Google Gemini, Claude) to create content strategies and learning solutions
- Standards: knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG) and mobile-first design
- Planning: able to identify long-term reinforcement strategies and potential blockers, estimate time to completion, and communicate clearly with stakeholders
Hiring process
- HR interview — a first conversation to discuss your experience and the role’s details.
- Two interviews with the client’s enablement team.
- Practical assignment — a short eLearning build (Mindsmith free trial) with a brief write-up or video walkthrough of your approach. The use of AI is encouraged.
