COMPANY AND PROJECT DESCRIPTION
A leading book retailer in Ireland is replacing its old PHP-based platform with a modern e-commerce solution. The new system will improve operations by integrating supplier data, optimizing product listings and enhancing order fulfillment. As a one of the first members of the dev team, you will have the opportunity to influence the technical direction and create meaningful impact for our client and their customers.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Deliver clean, maintainable, and well-documented code for internal review and approval by the technical lead.
- Design, develop and maintain BE and FE systems using Python and Vue.js.
- Participate in the creation of pipelines, real-time syncing and pricing algorithms.
- Build and optimize scalable APIs.
- Write unit tests and conduct system testing to ensure code quality and reliability.
- Contribute to the creation of thorough documentation for APIs, workflows and integration procedures.
REQUIREMENTS
- Python (3+ years of experience).
- Vue.js or other modern JS frameworks (at least 1 year of exp).
- APIs, including REST, webhooks, websockets and other related technologies.
- Docker or similar container management tools.
- Data processing and transformation frameworks: PySpark, Pandas or similar.
ENGLISH LEVEL
Upper-Intermediate/Advanced.
WORK SCHEDULE AND TIMEZONE
Flexible 8hr/day Mon – Fri, Dublin Time Zone.
